For Autoimmunees

Whether you just got diagnosed or have had an autoimmune condition for a while, my dream is for people to love my blog and use it frequently as a reference or guide through every step from a patient’s point of view. A lot of people ask what an autoimmune disease is, what its like, why it’s not really talked about etc. Well here’s my first person account. This page serves as your reference page to all my autoimmune related posts for easier browsing. I want you to come to think of me as your autoimmunee buddy. Because that’s what I wanted and needed when this is all started. Someone to be real with me and tell me what to expect. Someone who would be with me along the journey. I am so blessed to have met some amazing people so far, and I have to give a big shout out to my sister’s Angela and Heather, both of whom I met on an online support group. There are many people out there just like you with some amazing stories that are truly inspiring. I encourage everyone to up and know that you are not alone in this. There will be hardships I am sure, but you can get through it. If you ever need someone to talk to or ask questions to feel free to email me: lariana@islandmeetscity.com. I am passionate about helping as many people as I can and spreading awareness for these rare diseases.
